The last gathering for Train Tales will happen on Wednesday, August 13 at 3 pm

Children and their adults are invited to come to Car 81 in the Tower Train Depot and listen to beloved local residents Marge McPeak and Richard Hansen read to them a “duet story” where they read a book with two characters and each one takes a role. This will be a fun last session with two veteran story tellers. Richard is a retired school teacher and Marge a former librarian. Both are excited to present their wonderful story-telling talents during Train Tales.

After story-time, home-baked cookies and lemonade will be served and children will be able to choose and take home a book and a stuffed animal. After Train Tales, the Arrowhead Bookmobile will be waiting for attendees in the Civic Center parking lot.

This is the fourth and last Train Tales presented by the Tower Soudan Historical Society during the summer of 2025. The Society thanks those who participated this summer and looks forward to offering Train Tales to children and their adults again next year!
