Notes from all over
No More Kings
There continue to be protests around the country with a No More Kings theme. These protests are aimed at Donald Trump. They appear to be upset with his leadership.
Last I checked we vote hoping that the person you vote for does what they promised. Trump campaigned on secure borders, deportation of illegal immigrants, manufacturing back to the United States, all NATO members pay for their fair share, crime reduction, transgenders to not compete in women’s sports, and inflation, tax cuts, stop wars, protect Social Security and Medicare. So far he has kept all of those promises. He was elected by a landslide to fulfill those promises – seems democratic not autocratic.
If you think back to the election, Democrats circumvented the election process. No one voted for Kamala instated – it was her turn so they put her in. The Democrats did weaponize the judicial system to go after Trump with a series of charges that have all been unfounded. Democrats opened the borders, supported transgender decisions over parents. All of these sound autocratic not democratic. In my mind, they are the kings.
I’m an independent. The Democrats do not resemble a party that I once voted for. They have taken the stance to support fringe minority groups –Palestinians, trans, illegals – I’m confused. Both Obama and Clinton supported closed borders, now Biden did not. The Democrats under Biden have strayed from their values and common sense.
Now the government is shut down. The Democrats want health care that is better than mine, for illegals…seriously? Jeffries and Schumer used to campaign the government should never be shut down. Now it’s different. Enough please.
Trump has just brokered peace between Israel and Palestine and got the release of the prisoners. Biden and Kamala attempted to do this and failed. Even Hillary offered congratulations.
With regards to deploying troops in our cities, isn’t it interesting that most of the people living in these areas welcome troops while the folks in the suburbs are opposed. How do Mayor Johnson and Governor Pritzker say with a straight face that crime in Chicago is under control? And why wouldn’t a politician who doesn’t have their city under control not take help?
I still think Trump says and does things that are immature and unpresidential, but happy with results so far.
