Northwoods Friends of the Arts Native American Art Exhibit: Call for Artists
Northwoods Friends of the Arts (NWFA) is inviting Native American artists and art owners to participate in an upcoming exhibit. Native American Art will be featured from Thu, Nov 6 to Sat Nov 29 at the gallery located at 210 S. River St., Cook.
Are you a native American craftsman or artist, or do you have Native American art you would be willing to share with the public for the 2025 November exhibit? Examples include beading, painting, weaving, sculpture, birch bark baskets or pottery.
If you have art to exhibit, call or text Lyn Reed at 218-780-3633, Malita Spears at 218-944-1517, or Shawna Kishel at 218-780-6510. Whatever you have created or want to share will be welcomed at the gallery.
A public reception will be hosted at the gallery on Fri, Nov 7 from 5-7 p.m. to honor the artists and their work. “Fall into Christmas” shopping will be the following day, Sat, Nov 8, and the gallery will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit www.nwfamn.org , email nwfamn.org@gmail.com, or call
