Fishing report! Week #13 August 5-11, 2025 Water temp: 70-74

What an awesome week of fishing we had this week! All walleyes this week and it was a blast! First timers to the lake and first time walleye fishermen! Even had my first shore lunch of the season!

This week we saw a big swing in the bites on the east end. We started out dragging Lindy rigs in the sand in 17-22’ of water, all with crawlers. However, midweek we switched to pulling lead core and have been since! It’s been a very good bite so far and capitalizing on the bite windows has been huge. Catching a lot of fish in a short amount of time has been pretty regular in the evenings.

Baits of choice are #5 shad raps and other minnow style cranks. Pulling the baits anywhere from 2-2.5 mph has produced a lot of bites. Some days they will hit at 2.3+ and others they want it slow at 2.0-2.2.

This is an awesome time to be on the water and enjoy all this area has to offer! Fall is right around the corner and everything is just going to get better up here! I have a couple openings in August left and September is booking up quickly! Give me a call or text (218) 404-9200 anytime and let’s go make some memories this fall!

As always, tight lines!
