At approximately 9:20 on Thursday night, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office along with fire personnel from Cook, Orr, Kinney-Great Scott, and Greenwood responded to a residential house fire in Beatty Township.

Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed in flames. During the investigation, two people were located in the residence deceased.

At this time the incident is still under investigation, and names are being withheld pending of family notification.

The sheriff’s office and the State Fire Marshall’s Office are actively investigating.
