Fall Into Christmas, make an ornament at NWFA

Create an ornament and enjoy cookies and cider at Northwoods Friends of the Arts Gallery during Cook’s annual “Fall Into Christmas” community shopping day, Saturday, Nov. 8, in Cook!
This dynamic, welcoming non-profit arts organization is pleased that member Cathi Weber volunteered to manage a “create and take home” Christmas ornament for any willing shopper on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Materials are provided and creating will take place in the gallery classroom, The Wolfe Den.
Note that the gallery has begun winter hours so it is not open on Wednesdays during winter. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. Normal Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but on Saturday, Nov. 8, extended hours are a must for the community where many businesses are creating a festive day for shoppers.
NWFA serves the arts community year-round at the gallery located adjacent to DreamWeaver Salon at 210 S. River Street near Hwy 53.
