The Brodini Comedy Magic Show offers fun and exciting magic tricks that are so cool you won't believe your eyes! ¬ Magician Graylyn Morris will raise spirits and test kids' powers of concentration as he manipulates ropes, scarves, balls, and other props in a perplexing 'now you see it, now you don't' performance! This free program is 50 minutes long and is a familyfriendly program for all ages!

NWFA reception May 9 to honor three artists

A special threesome of artists will be honored from 5 to 7 p.m. at Northwoods Friends of the Arts Gallery in Cook, with a reception celebrating their exhibits during the month of May. “Beyond the Classroom, Color and Clay” is the May exhibit by retired teachers Lyn Reed, Mark Reed and Ron Maki. The exhibit features paintings, pottery and much more created by art teachers Lyn Reed and Ron Maki, and science teacher Mark Reed who served at Floodwood, Orr, Cook and North Woods schools.
