CO Troy Fondie (Orr) reports monitoring area lakes and forest roads. Public access sites were checked. Equipment was worked on, and administrative tasks were completed.
Awards Day
On Wednesday, the T-S staff handed out awards to our students in grades K-6. Students were recognized for excellence in attendance, academics, art, music, sports, and participation. Congratulations, Golden Eagles, on another successful year.

Ice fishing with Steve Bradach and Pete McGillivray
will be held the night of the event beginning at 5:00 at the Civic Center. Popular items secured for the silent auctions so far include services (window washing, lawn service, home painting, and pest control), activities offered by businesses (a round of golf for two at the Wilderness Golf Course and 1/ 2 day pontoon rental from Your Boat Club in Tower) and activities offered by individuals (potica making for two with Catherine Farley, wood fired pizza party for six with Linda and Jeff Smith, and ice fishing with Steve Bradach and Pete McGillivray).
Midsummer 2025: Songs of the Journey
The days are counting down for guests to RSVP for Midsummer 2025, “Songs of the Journey” to be held on June 14th, beginning at 5:00. A dinner will be held at the Herbert Lamppa Civic Center in Tower with a musical program to follow at St. Mary’s Hall on the LVCC campus. The RSVP date is June 4. Tickets may be purchased online at vermilionculturalcenter.org. Tickets are going fast so register today.
