Matthew 9:2 (NIV)

“Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the

man, ‘Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.’”

Reflection: This verse reminds us that faith—both our own and the faith of those who care for us—can bring us closer to God’s forgiveness and healing. Jesus sees the heart behind the action and responds

with compassion.
