The Tower-Soudan Historical Society looks forward to seeing Children and their adults on Wednesday, July 23 at 3 pm in Car 81 at the Tower Train Depot Museum.

Cheryl Lamppa will read several smaller books and stories: “The Best Part of a Sauna”, “Chicka Chica Boom Boom”, and a book about hummingbirds along with her hummingbird feeder. A longtime early educator, she will present a fun and lively session of Train Tales. The books will entertain, enlighten and educate one and all.

Afterwards cookies and lemonade will be served and children will be able to choose and take home one of over 100 gently-used books provided by the Historical Society from folks who have donated them for this program.

The Arrowhead Bookmobile will be parked in. the Civic Center parking lot after Train Tales for an additional opportunity to take books home.

If you have any gently used children’s books for ages baby-12 that you wish to donate, please bring them by the Train Depot Museum during open hours 10-4 Friday-Monday.
