4-H Shines Bright at the St. Louis County Fair.
St. Louis County 4-H invites the community to celebrate youth development in action at the St. Louis County Fair from July 30–August 3, held at the fairgrounds in Chisholm. This year’s events are packed with engaging exhibits, hands-on learning, and two exciting highlights: the grand opening of the 4-H Clover Café and the always popular 4-H Market Livestock Ribbon Auction.
The 4-H Clover Café Grand Opening will be Wednesday, July 30 at 5:00 p.m. Join us as we cut the ribbon on this youth-led food stand that supports 4-H programs throughout the county. The Clover Café will serve a variety of delicious meals, snacks, and hand-scooped ice cream—all prepared and served with help from local 4-H youth and volunteers. Your support directly helps grow leadership and learning opportunities in our community.
Another fair favorite, the 4-H Market Livestock Ribbon Auction, will take place on Sunday, August 3, at 3:00 p.m. in the Cattle Barn. This event celebrates the hard work of 4-H youth who have raised and cared for high-quality animals throughout the year. Buyers are invited to show their support through ribbon purchases, helping young people gain confidence, earn funds for future projects, and develop real-world business and communication skills.
Beyond these highlights, 4-H youth will showcase their talents and dedication all week long. From photography and gardening to horse shows and robotics, there’s something for everyone to explore.
