We just received an email from one of our area businesses that received a counterfeit $50.00 bill yesterday. In the past, we have also experienced issues with $20 bills. The counterfeit marking pens are available at J&L Ben Franklin on Chapman Street.

Ongoing scam emails are offering the Ely Chamber of Commerce membership list and festival lists. We do not sell those lists, nor give them to third parties to sell. We appreciate those who have shared the emails with us so they can be reported.
