For two weeks in June the Northwoods Friends of the Arts (NWFA) will be celebrating their 15th Annual Spring Art Expo! Extended Saturday hours until 4 p.m. on June 14 (Timber Days).

NWFA Opening Reception honoring over 40 participating artists will kick off the Expo with exhibit of works on Friday, June 6, from 5-7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Make IT and Take IT Art during Cook Timber Days June 13-15 – NWFA Children’s Art Activities at the Park Friday, June 13, from 1-4 p.m. and Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

NWFA Annual Meeting Tuesday, June 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gallery. A potluck dinner will be served. The meeting will close with a special guest speaker from 6 to 7 p.m.

Purchase 50/ 50 Raffle Tickets from NWFA board members or in person at the Gallery Wednesday-Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.1 p.m. In addition to other items the top winner will receive prizes of cash or a framed panoramic photo on metal of “Fire in the Sky” by famed local artist Carol Bowman. Annual Fundraising Concert Saturday, June 28, with Eric Pederson and Monroe Crossing. Tickets include beverages and dessert. Additional food options will be available from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Food Tent. The winners of the 50/50 raffle will be announced. 5:30 pm pre-concert with Eric Pederson and at 7 p.m. Monroe Crossing will take the stage.
